Inspired by natural amino acid polymer‐melanin systems, this study strategically incorporated tellurocysteine to develop advanced radiation‐shielding materials. This approach transformed the primary interaction mechanism between melanin‐based materials and incident photons from Compton scattering to the photoelectric effect. Tellurocysteine‐polymerized

Low Frequency Radio Astronomy from Above the Ionosphere [PDF]
The GMRT represents a dramatic improvement in ground-based observing capabilities for low frequency radio astronomy. At sufficiently low frequencies, however, no ground-based facility will be able to produce high resolution images while looking through the ionosphere.

A FAST Survey of H I Absorption in Low-power Radio Sources
We conducted a H i 21 cm absorption study of a sample of 147 nearby ( z < 0.1) low-power radio sources with 10 mJy < S _1.4 GHz < 30 mJy and $\mathrm{log}({P}_{1.4\,{\rm{GHz}}}/{\rm{W}}\,{{\rm{Hz}}}^{-1})=20.5\,\unicode{x02013}\,23.7$ , using the Five ...

Memristive Physical Reservoir Computing
Memristors’ nonlinear dynamics and input‐dependent memory effects make them ideal candidates for high‐performance physical reservoir computing (RC). Based on their conductance modulation, memristors can be classified as electronic or optoelectronic types.

Helical Electron Beam Micro‐Bunching by High‐Order Modes in a Micro‐Plasma Waveguide
ABSTRACT Electron acceleration by a high‐power Laguerre‐Gaussian pulse in a micro‐plasma waveguide is investigated. When the incident laser travels in the waveguide, electrons on the wall are extracted into the vacuum core and accelerated by the longitudinal field of the waveguide mode.
