Fire in low‐rise residential buildings
Building Research & Information, 1994Studies of building materials and fire show that material damage to a domestic low‐rise dwelling is influenced by the furniture as well as the character, the design and the construction of the dwelling and may therefore be somewhat higher in timber houses than in brick or masonry houses.
