An electronic pupillometer especially suitable for experiments with anesthetized (paralyzed) cats is described. This pupillometer uses a low-power laser as a light source. The narrow laser beam is projected on a mirror galvanometer which reflects the beam with a horizontal sweep across the iris 50 times per second.

Networks, 1976
AbstractAn approach to reducing the cost of drainage networks, such as plumbing networks in buildings, is described. The drain design problem is modelled as a specialized mathematical network called a drainage network; it is shown to be related to the Steiner problem in a directed graph. A procedure which yields a good approximation to the minimum cost

Session II of the 1975 Lake Arrowhead Workshop on "Advances in Storage for Minis and Micros" was devoted to low-cost tape devices. This article presents a summary of the discussions in that session. No attempt is made to present an all-inclusive coverage of low-cost tape devices, nor necessarily to present a balanced picture, but rather to present the ...

LOW‐COST TELERADIOLOGY FOR AUSTRALIA
Australian and New Zealand Journal of Surgery, 1991Teleradiology refers to the transmission of clinical images from their source to remote sites. In this paper a low‐cost means of establishing teleradiology using conventional personal computers is described. This is a simple and effective means of transmitting valuable clinical data from hospital to hospital, and hospital to individual, markedly ...
