Low-cost area-efficient low-dropout regulators using MOSFET capacitors
Traditional design of low-dropout regulators offers the use of metal-insulator-metal (MIM) compensation capacitors to avoid instability in the absence of output capacitance with equivalent series resistance (ESR). In addition to area efficiency achieved by replacing these capacitors with MOS transistors, the location of implanted transfer function ...

The Hidden Connection in City-wide Reform: How Charter Schools Can Bring Equity to Public Education [PDF]
Many civic leaders believe that the New Orleans reform strategy holds promise for increasing educational outcomes in other cities. This is likely true. But this is also true: New Orleans continues to make an equally meaningful contribution to advancing ...

In advanced colorectal cancer, tumors with mature tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) exhibited abundant infiltration of CD3‐ and CD8‐positive lymphocytes in both primary and metastatic sites, indicating an activated immune response. The presence of mature TLS was also associated with favorable chemotherapy sensitivity and improved prognosis.

This study introduces a tree‐based machine learning approach to accelerate USP8 inhibitor discovery. The best‐performing model identified 100 high‐confidence repurposable compounds, half already approved or in clinical trials, and uncovered novel scaffolds not previously studied. These findings offer a solid foundation for rapid experimental follow‐up,

Revealing Protein–Protein Interactions Using a Graph Theory‐Augmented Deep Learning Approach
This study presents a fast, cost‐efficient approach for classifying protein–protein interactions by integrating graph‐theory parametrization with deep learning (DL). Multiscale features extracted from graph‐encoded polarized‐light microscopy (PLM) images enable accurate prediction of binding strengths.

Parametric Analysis of Spiking Neurons in 16 nm Fin Field‐Effect Transistor Technology
Energy efficient computing has driven a shift toward brain‐inspired neuromorphic hardware. This study explores the design of three distinct silicon neuron topologies implemented in 16 nm fin field‐Effect transistor technology. While the Axon‐Hillock design achieves gigahertz throughput, its functional fragility persists. The Morris–Lecar model captures
