Approach to the implementation and modeling of LDO-assisted DC-DC voltage regulators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
This paper presents the design of an LDO-assisted DC-DC voltage regulator in Cadence Virtuoso® based on a 350-nm CMOS technology. This kind of voltage regulator consists of a switching converter together with a classic or LDO (low dropout) linear voltage

Low Voltage Low Dropout Regulator with Current Splitting Technique

open access: yesINTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF EMERGING TRENDS IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, 2015
Integrated regulators are used for power management in modern portable devices. There are many primary regulators and post regulators which converts high dc voltages, but they are unable to work on low voltage with low quiescent current. A low-voltage low-dropout regulator with current splitting technique is proposed which converts a low-voltage of 1V ...

Voltage noise analysis with ring oscillator clocks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Voltage noise is the main source of dynamic variability in integrated circuits and a major concern for the design of Power Delivery Networks (PDNs). Ring Oscillators Clocks (ROCs) have been proposed as an alternative to mitigate the negative effects of ...

A low power bandgap voltage reference for Low-Dropout Regulator [PDF]

open access: yes2015 IEEE Regional Symposium on Micro and Nanoelectronics (RSM), 2015
A low power Bandgap Voltage Reference (BGR) is designed to supply a voltage reference for a low voltage Low-Dropout Regulator (LDO). This bandgap design consists of a bandgap core circuit, an output stage and a start-up circuit. The output of the bandgap adopted sub-1V voltage reference through the output stage circuit. The bandgap is simulated using 0.

Conversion of Transplanted Mature Hepatocytes into Afp+ Reprogrammed Cells for Liver Regeneration After Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Donor‐derived tdTomato+ mature hepatocytes were FACS‐isolated and transplanted into Fah−/− host mice. During regeneration, these cells convert into proliferative, unipotent Afp+ rHeps. Their plasticity is governed by a PPARγ/AFP‐dependent metabolic switch, segregating into pro‐proliferative Afplow and pro‐survival Afphigh subpopulations.

Genome‐Wide CRISPR Screen Reveals PIK3CA Inhibition Enhances Lipid Nanoparticle‐Mediated siRNA Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A genome‐wide CRISPR screen and identifies PIK3CA as a key regulator of lipid nanoparticle (LNP) uptake is performed. Modulating PIK3CA with small‐molecule inhibitor BAY1082439 enhanced LNP uptake, siRNA delivery, and gene silencing in a variety of epithelial cells, and improved therapeutic outcomes in vivo.
