Availability Analysis of GNSS Signal in High Orbit [PDF]
Global navigation satellite system (GNSS) has the characteristics of strong autonomy, high real-time, high positioning accuracy and low cost, and it has been widely used by ground, low earth orbit (LEO) and medium earth orbit (MEO) users. However, in the

T3P: Demystifying Low-Earth Orbit Satellite Broadband
The Internet is going through a massive infrastructural revolution with the advent of low-flying satellite networks, 5/6G, WiFi7, and hollow-core fiber deployments. While these networks could unleash enhanced connectivity and new capabilities, it is critical to understand the performance characteristics to efficiently drive applications over them.

Low Earth Orbiting (LEO) Satellite and Orbital Decay
In this article we present a simple but elegant numerical calculation to study the motion of a low earth orbiting (LEO) satellite in gravitational potential and under the influence of quadratic drag force. We solve a set of coupled differential equations to calculate the instantaneous position and velocity of the satellite and calculate the change in ...

Limitations of Electromagnetic Ion Cyclotron Wave Observations in Low Earth Orbit [PDF]
Pc1 pulsations are geomagnetic fluctuations in the frequency range of 0.2 to 5 Hz. There have been several observations of Pc1 pulsations in low earth orbit by MAGSAT, DE-2, Viking, Freja, CHAMP, and SWARM satellites.

Extended Geometry and Probability Model for GNSS+ Constellation Performance Evaluation
We proposed an extended geometry and probability model (EGAPM) to analyze the performance of various kinds of (Global Navigation Satellite System) GNSS+ constellation design scenarios in terms of satellite visibility and dilution of precision (DOP) et al.

Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

A Geostationary Air Quality Monitoring Platform for Africa
African populations and economies are growing rapidly, but there are few surface observations to monitor the effects on air quality. Trend analysis of the 19-year record of space-based observations from remote sensors onboard low Earth orbit (LEO ...
