Low-frequency oscillation analysis of two-stage photovoltaic grid-connected system

open access: yesEnergy Reports, 2022
The low-frequency oscillation (LFO) problem of photovoltaic (PV) grid-connected systems has been a critical concern for safe operation, whereas the impact of dc-side components of PV plants are always ignored and single-stage PV plant is used. This paper

Low-Cost QCM Sensor System for Screening Semen Samples [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Artificial insemination is a well-established part of modern agricultural practice. A viable semen sample is judged by the total number of spermatozoa (sperm) in the sample and the motility of the sperm.

Blood‐based proteomic profiling reveals context‐dependent changes in BCL2‐associated signaling during taxane therapy in breast cancer patients

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.

Application and Evolution for Neural Network and Signal Processing in Large-Scale Systems

open access: yesComplexity, 2021
Low frequency oscillation is an important attribute of human brain activity, and the amplitude of low frequency fluctuation (ALFF) is an effective method to reflect the characteristics of low frequency oscillation, which has been widely used in the ...

Efficacy of Intermittent Theta‐Burst Stimulation for Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness: A Prospective, Randomized, Controlled Trial

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Emerging evidence suggests that low‐frequency neural oscillations are dynamically regulated by consciousness levels, with the recovery of low cortical activity potentially serving as a neurophysiological substrate for conscious emergence. Targeted enhancement of these low‐frequency rhythms in patients with disorders of consciousness

Low-Frequency Oscillations and Control of the Motor Output [PDF]

open access: yesFrontiers in Physiology, 2017
A less precise force output impairs our ability to perform movements, learn new motor tasks, and use tools. Here we show that low-frequency oscillations in force are detrimental to force precision. We summarize the recent evidence that low-frequency oscillations in force output represent oscillations of the spinal motor neuron pool from the voluntary ...

Research on the Influence of Switching Frequency on Low-Frequency Oscillation in the Voltage-Controlled Buck-Boost Converter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The influence of switching frequency on the low-frequency oscillation in the voltage-controlled buck-boost converter is studied in this paper. Firstly, the mathematical model of this system is derived.

Low‐Cost, Large‐Scale Nanoporous Metals by Mechanical Alloying, Oxide Reduction, and Dealloying of Powders

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Powder metal processing provides scalable advantages in nanoporous (np) metal development. Mechanical alloying is used to produce unique precursors for hybrid nanopore formation by oxide reduction and dealloying. As demonstrated in np Ag, this approach improves process efficiency while promoting smaller ligaments and larger pores, both of which are ...

Large-eddy simulation of low-frequency unsteadiness in a turbulent shock-induced separation bubble

open access: yes, 2009
The need for better understanding of the low-frequency unsteadiness observed in shock wave/turbulent boundary layer interactions has been driving research in this area for several decades.

Identification and Analysis of Low-Frequency Oscillation in a Multi-Grid-Forming-VSC Grid-Connected System

open access: yes, 2023
The existing low-frequency oscillation analysis method of a multi-grid-forming-VSC (voltage source converter) is greatly affected by modeling accuracy, and its oscillation mode can only be determined by acquiring the control parameters of the system ...
