AbstractWorldwide, 98% of stillbirths occur in low‐income countries (LIC), where stillbirth rates are ten‐fold higher than in high‐income countries (HIC). Although most HIC stillbirths occur prenatally, in LIC most stillbirths occur at term and during labor/delivery.
