Optically Transparent Metamaterial Absorber with Low Infrared Emissivity
2021 46th International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter and Terahertz Waves (IRMMW-THz), 2021In this work a broadband optically transparent flexible metamaterial wave absorber with low infrared emissivity is proposed. A broadband microwave absorption rate of greater than 90% from 4.44 to 20.65 GHz with a low infrared emissivity of 0.36 was obtained.

Low infrared emissivity composite materials for multi-band camouflage
Textile Research Journal, 2023Infrared camouflage textile materials have the advantages of softness, portability, and wearability. They are the main raw materials of infrared camouflage clothing, backpacks, camouflage nets, and tents. In this paper, from the perspective of reducing infrared emissivity to achieve the purpose of camouflage, metal materials were selected as ...

Low infrared emissivity of polyurethane/Cu composite coatings
Applied Surface Science, 2009Abstract Polyurethane/Cu composite coatings with low infrared emissivity near to 0.10 at the wavelength of 8–14 μm were prepared by a simple and convenient process. The influences of the content of Cu powder, surface roughness, coating thickness and temperature on infrared emissivity of the coatings were systematically investigated.

Infrared emission from surfaces under low-energy electron impact
Surface Science, 1995Abstract The infrared photon emission from metal surfaces stimulated by the impact of low-energy electrons of kinetic energies between 0–10 eV has been measured. The results are presented as isochromat spectra from clean Ag and Na surfaces under different temperatures.

Thermal ageing studies on low infrared emissivity composite coatings
Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2010Abstract The emissivity property of low infrared emissivity coatings was studied during the thermal ageing. The influence of roughness, surface structure and electrical conductivity on infrared emissivity was systematically investigated. The results of experimental investigation indicate that the infrared emissivity changes with roughness, surface ...

AbstractFull‐spectral optical camouflage is of broad interest and in urgent demand because of everlasting safety pursuit in modern society. However, the widely existing dim scenarios call for not only broadband low thermal detectivity but also wide‐gamut camouflaging colors with both low lightness and minimal chromatism. Here, a tape‐like metamaterial (

Infrared Emission Spectroscopy of Low Pressure Gaseous Discharges,
1977Abstract : A Michelson interferometer is used to measure infrared radiation in emission from a gaseous discharge column. The discharge column is contained in a 30-meter pathlength cell using a 12-meter central electrode. By optically triple passing, the equivalent pathlength achieved through the discharge column is 36 meters.

Abstract In this work, flaky aluminum was coated with bismuth oxide to obtain low reflection in near-infrared range and low emission in long-wave infrared stealth material. The composites were prepared through coprecipitation method, characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD), and measured by ultraviolet ...

Transparent and tunable water-based metamaterial absorber with low infrared emissivity
Applied Physics Letters, 2023A transparent and tunable metamaterial absorber with simultaneously low infrared (IR) emissivity is proposed in this Letter. The designed structure consists of an infrared shielding layer (IRSL), a radar absorber layer (RAL), and an air/water dielectric layer with an indium-tin-oxide (ITO) backplane.
