High resolution infrared emission spectroscopy of low pressure pre-mixed flames

Infrared Physics, 1973
Abstract High resolution (0.1 cm−1) pure rotation emission lines of HF, HCl, H2O and OH have been observed, in the 500 cm−1 region, of the free radicals and molecules produced in flames of premixed component gases burning in the pressure range 5–70 mm Hg.

Spectral Emissivity of Solids in the Infrared at Low Temperatures

Journal of the Optical Society of America, 1959
Two methods are developed for measuring low-temperature spectral emissivities in the infrared region. Neither of these has apparently been employed previously. One of them, which is only an approximate method, was followed by measurements of three common alloys.

Near-infrared phosphorescence emission of compounds with low-lying triplet states

Chemical Physics Letters, 1989
Abstract A sensitive near-infrared emission spectrometer allowed us to detect corrected phosphorescence spectra of several singlet oxygen sensitizers in the wavelength range between 700 and 1400 nm. The compounds investigated in this work were tetracene,9,10-diphenyltetracene, 5,10,15,20-tetraphenylporphyrin, Zn-tetraphenylporphyrin, and the Si ...
