Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

THE EXPRESSION OF TGF-1 AFTER LOW LEVEL LASER THERAPY IN INFLAMMATION ANIMAL MODEL

open access: yesFolia Medica Indonesiana, 2017
Pain is the most common complaints in everyday practice. Pain is a clinical manifestation caused by stimuli due to potential tissue damage. Low level laser therapy (LLLT) has been used in reducing pain.

Treatment of lipomas and diffuse lipomatosis with NDYAG 1064 NM laser and their impact on the quality of life [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Lipomas, the most common type of benign tumours, are generally developed from adipose tissue and present an incidence of 2.1 per 1000 inhabitants. In addition to lipomas, at least three other maladies of the adipose tissue lead patients to consult a ...

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Artificial Intelligence-Assisted Terahertz Imaging for Rapid and Label-Free Identification of Efficient Light Formula in Laser Therapy

open access: yesBiosensors, 2022
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is considered a promising noninvasive therapeutic strategy in biomedicine, especially by utilizing low-level laser therapy (LLLT) in visible and near-infrared spectra to trigger biological responses.

Low Reactive Level Laser Therapy.

open access: yesThe Japanese Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine, 2001
A laser (light amplification of stimulated emission of radiation) is the artificial ray, which is monochromatic, coherent and directional. Laser light with wavelengths of between 600 and 1, 300nm is optimized the depth of penetration in human tissue and is therefore most commonly used in the clinical setting.

Combining antibody conjugates with cytotoxic and immune‐stimulating payloads maximizes anti‐cancer activity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.
