Spatial three-dimensional secondary instability compressible boundary-layer flows [PDF]
Three-dimensional linear secondary instability theory is extended for compressible and high Mach number boundary layer flows. The small but finite amplitude compressible Tollmien-Schlichting wave effect on the growth of 3-D perturbations is investigated.

Community‐level effects of Müllerian mimicry on pollinator diversity and functioning
Read the free Plain Language Summary for this article on the Journal blog. Abstract Müllerian mimicry, a mutualistic interaction in which harmful species evolve similar warning signals, is often accompanied by niche divergence among mimetic species. While these aspects have traditionally been studied in an evolutionary context, their community‐level ...

SELFEXCITED VIBRATION OF A PALISADE IN 2D SUBSONIC, TRANSONIC AND SUPERSONIC FLOW
In recent years the works o f the coupled fluid-structure problems appeared. The computational method used to solve this problem was based on a time-marching algorithm, so it was natural to consider a time domain flutter analysis method. The time domain

Leading-edge receptivity for blunt-nose bodies [PDF]
This research program investigates boundary-layer receptivity in the leading-edge region for bodies with blunt leading edges. Receptivity theory provides the link between the unsteady distrubance environment in the free stream and the initial amplitudes ...
