New air cooler with low power consumption
IEEE PES General Meeting, 2010Energy saving mechanism is the reason behind this research project that led us to design, develop and build a new evaporative air cooler unit with high efficiency and low power consumption. This was done by designing a new water distribution system that eliminated the water pump of the standard unit and modifying its mechanical parts.

High-brightness low-power consumption microLED arrays
SPIE Proceedings, 2016microLED arrays are a route to providing emissive displays with high brightness and low power consumption performance. In this talk we will discuss results pertaining to sub 10 μm LED pixels, the challenges posed and performance achieved in forming microLED arrays. In particular, pixel pitch, backplane capabilities and colourisation.

Toward low-power-consumption source-gated phototransistor
Applied Physics LettersThe power consumption is challenging the next-generation electronic and optoelectronic devices. In this Letter, the n-type source-gated transistor (SGT) enabled by CdS nanobelt is investigated in detail, demonstrating the expected low power consumption, along with impressive photodetection performance.

Ultra-Low Quiescent Power Consumption LDO Regulators
2018This chapter discusses challenges introduced by ultra-low power consumption in power management circuits. First of all, some techniques proposed in the literature to design ultra-low-power LDO regulators are reviewed. Then, an IC-LDO regulator with a quiescent current consumption lower than 600 nA is proposed. It is based on the classical LDO topology,
