Effective Bulk Modulus in Low-Pressure Pump-Controlled Hydraulic Cylinders
In this paper, the effective bulk modulus of pump-controlled hydraulic cylinders is studied in the context of linear time-invariant modeling and control. Using an experimental test-rig, the minimum expected value of the effective bulk modulus is identified, and its impact on stability and achievable performance under feedback control is analyzed.
