Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

A Low-Profile Dual-Band Dual-Polarized Antenna With an AMC Reflector for 5G Communications
A low-profile dual-band dual-polarized antenna with an artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) reflector is proposed for 5G communications. The antenna consists of a pair of crossed dual-polarized dual-band bowtie dipoles and a dual-band AMC reflector.

Impact of axisymmetric mass models for dwarf spheroidal galaxies on indirect dark matter searches [PDF]
Dwarf spheroidals are low-luminosity satellite galaxies of the Milky Way highly dominated by dark matter (DM). Therefore, they are prime targets to search for signals from dark matter annihilation using gamma-ray observations.

Crosstalk between the ribosome quality control‐associated E3 ubiquitin ligases LTN1 and RNF10
Loss of the E3 ligase LTN1, the ubiquitin‐like modifier UFM1, or the deubiquitinating enzyme UFSP2 disrupts endoplasmic reticulum–ribosome quality control (ER‐RQC), a pathway that removes stalled ribosomes and faulty proteins. This disruption may trigger a compensatory response to ER‐RQC defects, including increased expression of the E3 ligase RNF10 ...

|V|: New insight into the circular polarization of radio pulsars
We present a study of single pulses from nine bright northern pulsars to investigate the behaviour of circular polarisation, V. The observations were conducted with the Effelsberg 100-m radio telescope at 1.41 GHz and 4.85 GHz and the Westerbork radio ...

Function‐driven design of a surrogate interleukin‐2 receptor ligand
Interleukin (IL)‐2 signaling can be achieved and precisely fine‐tuned through the affinity, distance, and orientation of the heterodimeric receptors with their ligands. We designed a biased IL‐2 surrogate ligand that selectively promotes effector T and natural killer cell activation and differentiation. Interleukin (IL) receptors play a pivotal role in

Design of a Low-Profile Broadband Metasurface Antenna Fed by an L-Shaped Probe Based on Characteristic Mode Analysis [PDF]
In this study, characteristic mode analysis (CMA) is employed to design a low-profile broadband metasurface antenna fed by an L-shaped probe. Adjusting partial patch sizes and segmenting the patches on the metasurface increase the antenna bandwidth and ...

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.
