Generalized FMD Detection for Spectrum Sensing under Low Signal-to-Noise Ratio [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Communications Letters, 2012
Spectrum sensing is a fundamental problem in cognitive radio. We propose a function of covariance matrix based detection algorithm for spectrum sensing in cognitive radio network. Monotonically increasing property of function of matrix involving trace operation is utilized as the cornerstone for this algorithm. The advantage of proposed algorithm is it

Dose‐dependent hepatotoxicity of hydrogen peroxide in HepG2 cells and its modulation by CYP450 induction

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
NMR metabolomics revealed concentration‐dependent metabolic perturbations in HepG2 cells exposed to H2O2. Rifampicin pretreatment enhanced metabolic competence, attenuated toxin‐induced alterations and produced metabolite profiles more consistent with human liver physiology, supporting the use of CYP450‐induced HepG2 models for improved in vitro ...

When and where do ECMWF seasonal forecast systems exhibit anomalously low signal‐to‐noise ratio? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Seasonal predictions of wintertime climate in the Northern Hemisphere midlatitudes, while showing clear correlation skill, suffer from anomalously low signal‐to‐noise ratio.

Dual threshold cooperative spectrum sensing algorithm based on stochastic resonance

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2020
In view of the poor performance of the existing spectrum sensing algorithm in the low signal-noise ratio (SNR) environment and the limitations of traditional stochastic resonance (SR) detection methods for weak signals in practical applications,a dual ...

KDAC6 alters cell morphology and motility through positive and negative modulation of F‐actin distribution

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
KDAC6 has been associated with cell motility and actin structures, but specific domain contributions are not established. The two catalytic domains have differential effects on motility and F‐actin regulation, affecting cortical F‐actin density, motility, stress fibers, and cell spreading.

Kinerja Sistem Komunikasi Satelit Ka-band Menggunakan Site Diversity Di Daerah Tropis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012

Low-power speech denoising method for non-stationary noise in underground mines

open access: yesMeitan xuebao
The voice intercom system in the fully mechanized mining face is facing serious non-stationary noise interference. Under power consumption limitations, achieving ultra-low signal-to-noise ratio speech denoising in intercom systems is one of the core ...

Structural studies and functional engineering of NanX: an anhydro‐sialic acid transporter from Escherichia coli

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Biophysical characterisation shows that NanX, a membrane transport protein from the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), forms both monomers and dimers after purification. AlphaFold modelling and substrate docking provide information on residues likely involved in substrate recognition for NanX and another MFS member, NanT.

Protocol for quantifying miRNA trafficking across the endosomal membrane

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
An in vitro protocol measures miRNA uptake into endosomes isolated from mammalian cell extracts, which are free of subcellular contaminants. Performed at 37 °C in the presence of ATP, it ensures the import of single‐stranded miRNA into the endosomal lumen.
