KMT2A degradation is observed in decitabine‐responsive acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells
We demonstrate that decitabine (DEC) not only degrades the DNA methyltransferase DNMT1 but also the leukemic driver lysine methyltransferase KMT2A likely due to structural similarity of the DNA‐binding CXXC domains. DEC influences KMT2A downstream processes and synergizes with menin inhibitor revumenib (REV) to decrease leukemic cell proliferation, and

CD226+CD8+ T cells express elevated levels of RUNX2, exhibit higher proliferation capacity, cytokines and cytolytic molecules expression, and migratory capacity. In contrast, CD226−CD8+ T cells display an exhausted phenotype associated with the increased expression of co‐inhibitory receptors and impaired effector functions.

Frequency Offset Estimation for OFDM Systems with a Novel Frequency Domain Training Sequence [PDF]
A novel frequency domain training sequence and the corresponding carrier frequency offset (CFO) estimator are proposed for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems over frequency-selective fading channels. The proposed frequency domain training sequence comprises two types of pilot tones, namely distinctively spaced pilot tones with ...

Tone-index Multisine Modulation for SWIPT [PDF]
We propose a new simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) technique that embeds information bits in the tone-index of multisine waveforms. By varying the number of subcarriers of the transmitted bandwidth-constrained multisine signal, the proposed scheme enables efficient radio-frequency energy harvesting and low-complexity ...

Multi-Tone Microwave Locking via Real-Time Feedback [PDF]
Environmental noise coupling to mechanical experiments often introduces low-frequency fluctuations to the resonators, adding noise to measurements and reducing signal to noise. To counter these fluctuations, we demonstrate a dynamic feedback system implemented by the locking of a microwave drive to the noisy cavity.

Triacsin C inhibition of the acyl‐CoA synthetase long chain (ACSL) family decreases multiple myeloma cell survival, proliferation, mitochondrial respiration, and membrane potential. Made with Biorender.com. Multiple myeloma (MM) is an incurable cancer of plasma cells with a 5‐year survival rate of 59%.

‘Pitch accent’ and prosodic structure in Scottish Gaelic: Reassessing the role of contact [PDF]
This paper considers the origin of ‘pitch accents’ in Scottish Gaelic with a view to evaluating the hypothesis that this feature was borrowed from North Germanic varieties spoken by Norse settlers in medieval Scotland. It is shown that the ‘pitch accent’

The complex mode of action of the topoisomerase II inhibitor etoposide in triggering apoptosis involves several mechanisms: overexpression of the mitochondrial protein VDAC1, leading to its oligomerization and formation of a large channel that mediates the release of pro‐apoptotic protein; and overexpression of the apoptosis regulators p53, Bax, and ...

Harmonics Based Representation in Clarinet Tone Quality Evaluation [PDF]
Music tone quality evaluation is generally performed by experts. It could be subjective and short of consistency and fairness as well as time-consuming. In this paper we present a new method for identifying the clarinet reed quality by evaluating tone quality based on the harmonic structure and energy distribution. We first decouple the quality of reed
