Multimode Oxide‐Based Optoelectronic Memtransistor for In‐Sensor Vision Processing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A multimode optoelectronic memtransistor (OEMT) is demonstrated for vision explainable artificial intelligence (VXAI) hardware. By integrating optical sensing, electrical masking, and non‐volatile memory, the device enables key operations required for generating saliency information.

Making the Case for Organ‐on‐Chip Platforms in Long‐Acting Therapeutics Development

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
LATs release drug from a tissue‐resident depot over weeks to months, improving adherence, but their development is hampered by preclinical models that cannot reproduce the coupled tissue processes, sustained release, local microenvironment change, interstitial transport, immune and foreign‐body responses, and clearance that govern depot performance in ...

Referral to low vision services by optometrists

open access: yes, 1996
Background: Only a small percentage of people with low vision in Australia receive comprehensive low vision rehabilitation services. In an attempt to examine reasons for this under-utilisation of low vision services, the referral criteria used by ...

Multi-disciplinary low vision care [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
Case reports for three patients with low vision due to different ocular diseases are presented. In each case, a different rehabilitation professional was the main provider of the low vision care needed to meet the patient’s goals. However, in all cases

Aid, Volatility and Growth Again: When Aid Volatility Matters and When It Does Not [PDF]

open access: yes
In previous papers we have argued that aid is likely to mitigate the negative effects of external shocks on economic growth (i.e., aid is more effective in countries that are more vulnerable to external shocks).

Ferroelectric Quantum Dots for Retinomorphic In‐Sensor Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work has provided a protocol for fabricating retinomorphic phototransistors by integrating ferroelectric ligands with quantum dots. The resulting device combines ferroelectricity, optical responsiveness, and low‐power operation to enable adaptive signal amplification and high recognition accuracy under low‐light conditions, while supporting ...
