Molecular Recognition by Halogen Bonding With Atomic Precision in a Covalent Organic Cage. [PDF]

open access: yesAngew Chem Int Ed Engl
A covalent organic cage embedding a single inward‐facing halogen‐bond (XB) donor enables recognition of DMMP, a Sarin surrogate, with atomic precision through halogen bonding, while both the hydrogen bonding donor encaged analogue and the XB donor open model ‐lacking cavity‐ show no affinity.

On-Demand Deconstructable Thermosets Through Cleavable Comonomer and Thermolatent Base Synergy. [PDF]

open access: yesAngew Chem Int Ed Engl
Thermosets, valued for their chemical and mechanical properties, resist recycling due to their cross‐linked structure. Weak bonds via comonomers enable degradability, but diffusion limits effectiveness. We incorporate thermolatent bases before polymerization (thermal or 3D‐VAT printing).
