Summary: The object of the present paper is to study a transformation called D-homothetic deformation of \(LP\)-Sasakian manifolds. Among others it is shown that in an \(LP\)-Sasakian manifold, the Ricci operator \(Q\) commutes with the structure tensor \(\varphi\).
