ZFAS1 is a lncRNA promoting cell proliferation and migration, exhibiting high expression in various cancers. It is conserved, widely expressed, and produces multiple splice variants with unclear roles. We identified several splice variants in hepatocyte models, and found that inhibiting or suppressing regulators of the unfolded protein response (PERK ...

Marcinkiewicz integrals with variable kernels on Hardy and weak Hardy spaces
In this article, we consider the Marcinkiewicz integrals with variable kernels defined by μΩ(f)(x)=(∫0∞|∫|x−y|≤tΩ(x,x−y)|x−y|n−1f(y)dy|2dtt3)1/2, where Ω(x,z)∈L∞(ℝn)×Lq(Sn−1) for q > 1.

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

Some estimates for commutators of Littlewood-Paley g-functions
The aim of this paper is to establish the boundedness of commutator [b,g˙r]\left[b,{\dot{g}}_{r}] generated by Littlewood-Paley gg-functions g˙r{\dot{g}}_{r} and b∈RBMO(μ)b\in {\rm{RBMO}}\left(\mu ) on non-homogeneous metric measure space.

Planar Ultrametric Rounding for Image Segmentation [PDF]
We study the problem of hierarchical clustering on planar graphs. We formulate this in terms of an LP relaxation of ultrametric rounding. To solve this LP efficiently we introduce a dual cutting plane scheme that uses minimum cost perfect matching as a ...

Association Between Motor Pathway Damage and Motor Deficit in Upper and Lower Limb in People With MS
ABSTRACT Objective Corticospinal tract damage is common in people with MS, but the degree of clinical symptoms varies. We hypothesize that corticospinal tract lesions are more extensive and severe in people with MS with motor impairments in both upper and lower limbs.

Approximation of the image of the Lp ball under Hilbert-Schmidt integral operator
In this article, an approximation of the image of the closed ball of the space Lp{L}_{p} (p>1p\gt 1) centered at the origin with radius rr under Hilbert-Schmidt integral operator F(⋅):Lp→LqF\left(\cdot ):{L}_{p}\to {L}_{q}, 1p+1q=1\frac{1}{p}+\frac{1}{q}=

On the product of functions in $BMO$ and $H^1$ over spaces of homogeneous type [PDF]
Let $\mathcal X$ be an RD-space, which means that $\mathcal X$ is a space of homogeneous type in the sense of Coifman-Weiss with the additional property that a reverse doubling property holds in $\mathcal X$.

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

On the surjectivity of linear transformations
Let B be a reflexive Banach space, X a locally convex space and T:B→X (not necessarily bounded) linear transformation. A necessary and sufficient condition is obtained so that for a given v∈X there is a solution for the equation Tu=v. This result is used
