Household energy demand and the equity and efficiency aspects of subsidy reform in Indonesia [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
The proper design of price interventions in energy markets requires consideration of equity and efficiency effects. In this paper, budget survey data from 29,000 Indonesian households are used to estimate a demand system for five energy sources, which is

Synergistic Effects of IMP‐1700, Ciprofloxacin, and X‐Ray Radiation in Bacteria and Mammalian Cell Lines: Implications for Use in Antimicrobial‐Resistant Bacteria

open access: yesMicrobiologyOpen, Volume 15, Issue 3, June 2026.
IMP‐1700 enhances the cytotoxic effect on bacteria in combination with either ciprofloxacin (CPX) or X‐ray. In noncancerous and tumor cells, combination treatments markedly reduce viability with radiosensitizing effects. Further studies are needed to clarify the mechanism underlying IMP‐1700s effects on mammalian cells. Created in BioRender. Kjaer, A. (

Analyzing Non‐Random Selectivity in Online Job Advertisements Using Eurostat Benchmark Data and Generalized Sample Selection Models: An Application to EU Regional Labor Markets

open access: yesLABOUR, Volume 40, Issue 2, Page 131-161, June 2026.
ABSTRACT The present paper provides an overall framework to afford the problem of non‐representativeness and non‐random selectivity arising from online job ads data, using Generalized sample selection models and Eurostat benchmark data. We jointly model the outcome intensity (number of online job ads in observed profiles, whose levels are defined by ...

Lipidome Analysis of Cancer Cells and Their Extracellular Vesicles Reveals Cancer‐Type‐Specific Lipid Signatures and Enables the Design of EV‐Mimetic Liposomes

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Vesicles, Volume 15, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Lipid metabolism reprogramming is a hallmark of cancer, yet the global lipidome of cancer cells and their extracellular vesicles (EVs) remains poorly understood. Using mass spectrometry, we analyzed the lipid profiles of a panel of human cancer and non‐cancer cell lines along with their secreted EVs.
