Mechanically Robust Biodegradable Stents With Theragenerative Vascular Responses via Combined 3D Printing and Janus Nanoengineering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work introduces a theragenerative 3D‐printed biodegradable stent with Janus nanoarchitecture for spatially controlled vascular healing. A luminal tantalum ion–implanted surface accelerates endothelialization and hemocompatibility, while an abluminal sirolimus/poly‐L‐lactic acid–tantalum layer provides sustained drug release and suppresses smooth ...

Hypothesis testing in one-way classification AR(1) model with Student’s t innovations: An application to a real life data

open access: yes, 2017
In this study, we estimate the model parameters in one-way classification AR (1) model when the distribution of the error terms is independently and identically distributed (iid) Student’s t.

Comparison of autoregressive methods, LOMB-SCARGLE and rapid Fourier transformation in the estimation of heart rate variability during sleep. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017

Fabrication of High‐Density Multimodal Neural Probes Based on Heterogeneously Integrated CMOS

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A chiplet‐based methodology democratizes active neural probe development on standard bulk CMOS services. This yields the first probe combining high‐density electrophysiology (416 electrodes) with calcium imaging (832 photodiodes) and complete on‐chip signal processing across 13 shanks.

A system for reconstruction of missing data in image sequences using sampled 3D AR models and MRF motion priors

open access: yes, 1996
This paper presents a new technique for interpolating missing data in image sequences. A 3D autoregressive (AR) model is employed and a sampling based interpolator is developed in which reconstructed data is generated as a typical realization from the ...

Threshold and cage effect for dissociation of H2O and D2O in Ar and Kr matrices

open access: yes
A threshold near 6.8 eV is obsd. for the dissocn. of H2O (and D2O) via the repulsive A(1B1) potential in rare gas matrixes. The threshold varies within 0.2 eV for exchange of Kr with Ar matrix, upon deuteration, and with temp.

Fine‐Tuned Regulation of mRNA Translation and Transport by STAU2 Condensate Facilitates Neuronal Development and Plasticity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
STAU2 undergoes phase separation to form dynamic condensates that package target mRNAs and deliver them to the distal ends of growing neuronal dendrites. STAU2 condensates stabilize embedded mRNAs and repress their translation. Synaptic activity bidirectionally remodels STAU2 condensates, coordinating local translation of STAU2‐associated mRNAs ...

Carbon Interlayer with Uniformly Anchored ZnO Nanoparticles: Surface‐Energy‐Driven Coble Creep for Practical Anode‐Free Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We used a zinc oxide–carbon composite interlayer (ZnO@C) via the electron‐beam (e‐beam) irradiation method to fabricate a cost‐effective, high‐energy‐density, anode‐free solid‐state battery. Chemical anchoring between the ZnO and carbon enabled uniform nanoscale morphology, mitigating the high surface energy of the ZnO NPs.

Zonal-Mean N₂ and Ar Densities and Temperatures in Mars Thermosphere From MAVEN

open access: yes
Measurements of Ar and N₂ densities at 160–250 km altitude from the Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution (MAVEN) Neutral Gas and Ion Mass Spectrometer (NGIMS) during February 2015–February 2023 are analyzed to provide a comprehensive analysis of their ...

Radiation‐Resistant Kr‐Selective MOF With Record Kr/Xe Selectivity at Elevated Pressure

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The separation of Kr/Xe from spent nuclear fuel off‐gas is critical, yet most current adsorbents exhibit Xe‐Kr co‐adsorption under elevated pressures, posing challenges for industrial pressure swing adsorption processes. Herein, we present and evaluate a metal‐organic framework, CALF‐20M‐w, engineered for molecular sieving separation of Kr/Xe ...
