ABSTRACT Background The clinical relevance of MGMT promoter methylation in IDH‐mutant gliomas remains controversial in the era of molecular classification. We aimed to systematically evaluate its clinical relevance by integrating quantitative assessment, cutoff exploration, and adjustment for clinical confounding.

Diffusion Basis Spectrum Imaging of Tissue Microstructure and Early Treatment in Multiple Sclerosis
ABSTRACT Objective Conventional MRI cannot resolve the coexisting pathological processes within multiple sclerosis tissue. Diffusion Basis Spectrum Imaging decomposes the diffusion signal into fiber, cell, and hindered ratios indexing axonal integrity, cellularity, and extracellular space, respectively.

ABSTRACT Objective Minor strokes may be associated with early neurological deterioration (END) and disabilities. The objective was to investigate the role of serum glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) levels in predicting END. Methods Data originated from a multicenter cohort study conducted prospectively.

Queen Size Variation in the Ponerine Ant Ponera coarctata (Hymenoptera: Formicidae)
Queens of Ponera coarctata show a pronounced variation in size as measured by ommatidia number and Weber's alitrunk length. Isometric size variation and the normal distribution of size categories indicate that, despite these differences, only one queen ...

Positively Charged Acceptors with (ls)3 and (ls)4 Configurations [PDF]
We show that multiple acceptors in Ge can readily bind an extra hole. Experimental values for the binding energies of the extra hole for the multiple acceptors Be, Mg, Mn, Zn, Hg, and Cu in Ge are compared to model calculations. One such center (Zn+) has been used for the first time as a long-wavelength (λ < 500 μm) photoconductor at T=1.2 K. Using the

ABSTRACT Objective Inherited ataxias are clinically diverse neurodegenerative diseases, complicating the choice of outcome measures for trials. In spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA), regulatory concerns about the Scale for the Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) caused a shift toward functional SARA (f‐SARA), contributing to pivotal trial failure.
