ABSTRACT Coal remains a major global energy source despite ongoing environmental controversies, particularly, regarding climate change and landscape transformation. This study investigates the spatiotemporal dynamics of land use and land cover (LULC) in the Moatize Coal Basin (MCB), Mozambique, between 1990 and 2024, with a specific focus on land ...

Short‐term extreme rainfall can be produced by the variation of low‐level warm moist airflow during mesoscale convective systems (MCSs) approaching another. The cold outflow of the rapidly moving MCS intensifies the warm moist airflow in front, enhancing the convergence and ascending motion in the quasi‐stationary MCS.

Research study on stabilization and control. Modern sampled-data control theory. Analysis and design of the digital large space telescope system [PDF]
Dynamic modeling of a low cost single axis LST system and the pointing stability of that system are investigated. The effects of nonlinear friction of the bearings of the reaction wheels, quantization, and sensor noise on the pointing error are covered ...

The characteristics of squall lines in the Southeast Asia region
Squall lines over the Maritime Continent were analysed using 20 years of IMERG GPM data and classified into four regional clusters. Significant regional differences were found in their size, intensity, lifespan, and propagation. Nighttime squall lines are primarily driven by the convergence of opposing offshore flows and the convergence of monsoonal ...

ABSTRACT Over the past few decades, the intensification of global warming has brought increased attention to urban thermal dynamics, particularly regarding Land Surface Temperature (LST) and the Urban Surface Heat Island (SUHI) effect. This study conducts a systematic literature review alongside a bibliometric analysis of 123 peer‐reviewed articles ...

Speaker Verification Model USING LST
Abstract: This project presents a speaker verification model using LSTM networks to detect the authenticity of voices, distinguishing between real and deepfake audio. With the growing threat of AI-generated voices being used for identity theft and misinformation, this model aims to address those risks.
