Improvement of Field Uniformity Evaluation in Reverberation Chambers: A Simulation‐Based Analysis of EUT Volume and Uniform Region Proportion

open access: yesIET Science, Measurement &Technology, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
This study demonstrates that the conventional 8% physical volume rule for Equipment Under Tests (EUTs) in reverberation chambers is an unreliable guideline for maintaining field uniformity. Our full‐wave simulation results prove that an EUT's electrical size and geometric shape are the more critical factors.
