USP43‐mediated deubiquitination of SLC7A11 protects against LPS‐induced acute lung injury by inhibiting ferroptosis

Ubiquitin‐specific protease 43 (USP43) in up‐regulated during lipopolysaccharide (LPS)‐induced acute lung injury (ALI). USP43 interacts and inhibits the degradation of solute carrier family 7 member 11 (SLC7A11) by removing the K48‐linked ubiquitination of it, thereby suppressing ferroptosis.
