In‐Process Melt Separation of Depolymerized PET in PET/PE Blends for Upcycling via Twin‐Screw Extrusion

This work aims to depolymerize PET in PET/LLDPE blends via twin‐screw extrusion to allow low‐Mw PET to be extracted and separated. The separated PET is made into BHET and then sold to create virgin PET. LLDPE will be cracked into low‐Mw products that can be utilized as various products.
