Quadratic Divergences in GUTs with Vanishing One-Loop Beta Functions
All members of a recently proposed new set of (non-supersymmetric) grand unified theories with at the one-loop level vanishing beta functions for the gauge, Yukawa, and scalar-boson self-interaction coupling constants are shown to involve, already at the

Epigenetic reprogramming in multiple myeloma—Challenges and opportunities
Abstract In cancer, mutational processes act in concert with epigenetic reprogramming to endow malignant cells with hallmark properties that underpin tumorigenesis. Compared with the relatively rigid and slow processes of genetic evolution, the plastic nature of chromatin enables cells to adapt to a changing environment more rapidly.

Semirelativistic Bound-State Equations: Trivial Considerations
Observing renewed interest in long-standing (semi-) relativistic descriptions of bound states, we would like to make a few comments on the eigenvalue problem posed by the spinless Salpeter equation and, illustrated by the examples of the nonsingular ...

Abstract This paper offers an alternative reading of decolonial geographies by examining how people make due in the context of colonial natures. Drawing on collaborative ethnographic research, we illustrate how everyday acts of reclaiming ancestral lands serve as practices of resistance that foment Enxet and Sanapaná resurgence in Paraguay's Chaco.

Heroic Creation and the Socialist City: The Making of Villa El Salvador
Abstract J.C. Mariátegui believed Indo‐American socialism would be neither calque nor copy, but heroic creation. This article explores an attempt at heroic creation in 1970s Peru: the Self‐Managed Urban Commune of Villa El Salvador (Villa). Putting Marxism in conversation with decolonial theory, I argue Villa shows universality and particularity can be

Instantaneous Bethe-Salpeter View of Goldstone-Type Pseudoscalar Mesons
Describing the lightest pseudoscalar mesons as bound states of quark and antiquark within the framework of an instantaneous Bethe-Salpeter formalism constructed such as to retain (in contrast to Salpeter's equation) as much information on the ...

Embracing the politics of transformation: Policy action as “battle‐settlement events”
Abstract Societal transformations for addressing climate change are intensely contested and at risk of resistance and backlash to ambitious policy action. But they are frequently modeled through heuristics such as S‐curves which abstract from such conflicts, assuming increasing returns to scale as a driver of transformations.
