ABSTRACT We report an extremely rare case of duodenal bulb perforation caused by a double‐pigtail plastic stent placed for walled‐off necrosis (WON), coexisting with a biliary fistula to the WON and a choledochoduodenal fistula, all successfully managed with endoscopic treatment alone.

ABSTRACT Objectives Gallbladder drainage is used for patients with acute cholecystitis (AC) who are unsuitable for emergency cholecystectomy. Percutaneous transhepatic gallbladder drainage (PTGBD), endoscopic ultrasound‐guided gallbladder drainage (EUS‐GBD), and endoscopic transpapillary GBD (ETGBD) are used as bridge‐to‐surgery (BTS) approaches, but ...

Endoscopic anastomotic reconstruction with lumen-apposing metal stents
This case is a presentation on the use of lumen-apposing metal stents (LAMSs) and then endoscopic dissection to permanently re-establish continuity between the gastric pouch and remnant in a complex and hostile abdomen.A 56-year-old man with a previous Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, performed for weight loss, developed life-threatening gastric injury ...

ABSTRACT Heavily calcified coronary lesions remain a major challenge in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), often limiting the effectiveness of intravascular lithotripsy (IVL). We report a five‐case series in which IVL failed to achieve adequate lesion modification but was successfully augmented by the addition of one or more buddy wires.

Timing It Right: Endoscopic Necrosectomy for Infected Necrotizing Pancreatitis
The endoscopic step-up drainage approach involving initial drainage followed by, if required, direct endoscopic necrosectomy (DEN) is the preferred management approach for symptomatic pancreatic necrotic collections.

Clinical Outcomes of Drug‐Eluting Stents and Drug‐Coated Balloons in Tortuous Small Coronary Lesions
ABSTRACT Background In small, tortuous coronary lesions, the long‐term comparative performance of drug‐coated balloon (DCB) angioplasty versus drug‐eluting stent (DES) treatment remains uncertain, despite both strategies being widely used in contemporary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) practice. Aims This study aimed to compare 3‐year clinical

Endoscopic small bowel therapies for type 2 diabetes
Abstract Type 2 diabetes is a global epidemic despite current medical treatments. Many patients are not responsive to medications, and patients with obesity are hesitant about bariatric surgery. Studies investigating the metabolic effects of Roux‐en‐Y gastric bypass have increasingly demonstrated that the duodenum plays a key role in the ...

Perivesicular Abscess Drainage with Lumen-Apposing SelfExpanding Metal Stents
Abdominal and pelvic abscesses can occur due to a number of reasons, the most common being surgery. They are associated with significant morbidity and mortality. The treatment approach for these types of collections is often the initiation of broad-spectrum antibiotics, accompanied by drainage.

Drug‐coated balloons: From conventional designs to next‐generation innovations in vascular therapy
This review traces the evolution of drug‐coated balloons (DCBs) from conventional designs to next‐generation platforms. We highlight innovations in balloon engineering, coating technologies, and therapeutic agents that enhance localized drug delivery while addressing challenges in efficiency, safety, and biocompatibility for vascular and emerging non ...
