Background Retinol binding protein 4 (RBP4) has been regarded as an important serological biomarker for type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Hence, the construction of a highly sensitive detection method for RBP4 is the key to early prevention and ...

Can Luminol Be a Fluorophore? [PDF]
In this work, we report a new chemiluminescence system using bis-(2,4,6-trichlorophenyl) oxalate (TCPO) with hydrogen peroxide and luminol as fluorophore. The intense chemiluminescence reaction here described was fully investigated and it was determined that this fluorescent system has two strong light emissions at 440 and 490 nm, respectively.

Here, we enhance the electrochemiluminescence imaging of cellular spheroids using [Ru(bpy)3]2+/TPrA chemistry. Our strategy, which involves pre‐incubation with TPrA, enables high‐resolution, long‐term visualization of cellular spheroids without phototoxicity.

Electrochemically Generated Luminescence of Luminol and Luciferin in Ionic Liquids
Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) is the generation of light triggered by an electrochemical reaction. ECL has been extensively studied in solvent‐based electrolytes, but there is a lack of data on using electrode reactions to populate an excited‐state ...

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Advances in the construction and application of chemiluminescence probes
In the chemiluminescence process, when the luminescent system and the response substrate undergo a chemical reaction, the dye molecules in the system are excited by the chemical energy generated by the chemical reaction and generate light signals.

Erythropoietin administration suppresses hepatic soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) expression, leading to increased CYP‐derived epoxides. This is associated with a shift in hepatic macrophage polarization characterized by reduced M1 markers and increased M2 markers, along with reduced hepatic inflammation, suppressed hepatic lipogenesis, and attenuated ...

Loss of AMBRA1 activates MAPK and angiogenesis signaling pathways in melanoma cells
Loss of AMBRA1 in melanoma cells activates multiple oncogenic pathways associated with tumor progression. Transcriptomic and protein network analyses revealed that AMBRA1 depletion enhances MAPK/ERK signaling, angiogenesis, TGF‐β/EMT signaling, and Wnt/axon guidance pathways.
