Scattering of sine-Gordon kinks with internal structure in an extended nonlinear O(3) sigma model
In this paper, we present topological defects in (1, 1) dimensions, described by an extended nonlinear O(3) sigma model. We consider spherical coordinates (ϕ, χ) in the isotopic space S 2 and a potential V (ϕ, χ). For specific forms of the potential, the

Magnetic skyrmions: From lumps to supercompactons
The magnetic skyrmion is described by one control parameter and one length scale. We study the two extreme limits of the control parameter, infinitely large and vanishing, and find that the magnetic skyrmion becomes a “restricted” magnetic skyrmion and ...

Speckle‐Engineered Upconversion Amplification in Nanoemulsion‐Templated Hydrogel Microdomes
Nanoemulsion‐confined PEGDA microdomes generate speckle‐like excitation fields that strongly amplify upconversion luminescence upon dehydration, enabling filter‐free visible readout with reversible on–off switching. DMD‐based lithography yields scalable, shape‐programmable arrays for moisture‐responsive displays and optical encryption.

Flexible piezoresistive pressure sensors underpin wearable and soft electronics. This review links sensing physics, including contact resistance modulation, quantum tunneling and percolation, to unified materials/structure design. We highlight composite and graded architectures, interfacial/porous engineering, and microstructured 3D conductive networks

Conventional doping of P3HT with F4TCNQ results in poor charge transport. However, when F4TCNQ is exchanged with LiTFSI, the transport characteristics are greatly enhanced. We find the increase in charge transport is directly related to an increase in the mesoscale ordering of P3HT, resulting in longer and better‐connected transport pathways.

A novel thermos‐responsive hydroxypropyl cellulose/graphene oxide (HPC/GO) composite membrane is fabricated for reversible temperature‐gated ion transport in aqueous zinc‐ion batteries. Enabled by LCST‐driven structural transition, unimpeded ion diffusion at room temperature delivers high capacity, while elevated temperature suppresses transport; full ...
