ABSTRACT Context Placental calcium (Ca2+) transport is essential for foetal bone mineralisation and development, as well as for Ca2+ homoeostasis. Rare mutations in transient receptor potential vanilloid (TRPV) 6 of the infant cause insufficient maternal‐foetal Ca2+ transport through the placenta.

Mass loading of the Earth's magnetosphere by micron size lunar ejecta. 1: Ejecta production and orbital dynamics in cislunar space [PDF]
Particulate matter possessing lunar escape velocity sufficient to enhance the cislunar meteroid flux was investigated. While the interplanetary flux was extensively studied, lunar ejecta created by the impact of this material on the lunar surface is only

Local Elites in Chile's Pisco Valley: Dispossession, Legal Mobilisation and Intertwined Citizenship
ABSTRACT In countries in the Global South, citizenship is often closely tied to access to water and land ownership. In Latin America, the literature has primarily explored social mobilisation and identity reconfiguration in response to development‐driven processes of land and water dispossession affecting peasants, rural and Indigenous communities ...

An obstacle perception method based on depth camera data in lunar surface environment
To address the issue of obstacle detection in lunar surface environment, visual information and depth data of lunar surface were obtained through a depth camera. The lunar obstacle perception was achieved by combining deep neural networks and point cloud

MALEO: Modular Assembly in Low Earth Orbit. A strategy for an IOC lunar base [PDF]
Modular Assembly in Low Earth Orbit (MALEO) is a new strategy for building an initial operational capability lunar habitation base. In this strategy, the modular lunar base components are brought up to Low Earth Orbit by the Space Transportation System ...

Noble gases and nitrogen in material from asteroid Bennu
Abstract We report the elemental and isotopic abundances of all stable noble gases (helium, neon, argon, krypton, and xenon) in eight particles from asteroid Bennu returned by NASA's OSIRIS‐REx mission. We also report nitrogen abundances and isotopic ratios that were analyzed alongside neon and argon in four additional Bennu particles.
