A emulação camoniana em Prosopopeia: a Nova Lusitânia cantada em Os Lusíadas

open access: diamondRevista Desassossego, 2023
Prosopopeia (1601), épica luso-brasileira de Bento Teixeira, foi por muito tempo lida como um mero simulacro camoniano, sem qualidades literárias próprias, devido às semelhanças com Os Lusíadas, de Camões.

A Novel Invertebrate Predator on an Oceanic Island: Impacts and Invasion Dynamics of Kontikia andersoni on Macquarie Island. [PDF]

open access: yesEcol Evol
This study examines the invasion dynamics of the predatory invertebrate flatworm Kontikia andersoni, and its impacts on the invertebrate communities of sub‐Antarctic Macquarie Island. Our findings indicate that at higher elevations where K. andersoni is present there are significant reductions in invertebrate richness.

A paleoecological context to assess the development of oak forest in Colombia: A comment on Zorilla-Azcué, S., Gonzalez-Rodríguez, A., Oyama, K., González, M.A., & Rodríguez-Correa, H., The DNA history of a lonely oak: Quercus humboldtii phylogeography in the Colombian Andes. Ecology and Evolution 2021, doi: 10.100-2/ece3.7529. [PDF]

open access: yesEcol Evol, 2022
Abstract The present “comment” on Zorilla‐Azcué et al.’s paper “The DNA history of a lonely oak: Quercus humboldtii phylogeography in the Colombian Andes. Ecology and Evolution 2021, doi:10.100‐2/ece3.7529” provides the paleoecological understanding of oak forest since Quercus became apparent in the Northern Andes three glacial–interglacial cycles ago.

Theoretical kinetics analysis of the OH + CH3OH hydrogen abstraction reaction using a full‐dimensional potential energy surface

open access: yesInternational Journal of Chemical Kinetics, Volume 55, Issue 9, Page 525-536, September 2023., 2023
Abstract Based on an analytical full‐dimensional potential energy surface (PES), named PES‐2022, fitted to high‐level ab initio calculations previously developed by our group and specifically developed to describe this polyatomic reactive process, an exhaustive kinetics analysis was performed in the temperature range 50–2000 K, that is, interstellar ...

Biases and distribution patterns in hard‐bodied microscopic animals (Acari: Halacaridae): Size does not matter, but generalism and sampling effort do

open access: yesDiversity and Distributions, Volume 29, Issue 7, Page 821-833, July 2023., 2023
Abstract Aim The interplay between distribution ranges, species traits and sampling and taxonomic biases remains elusive amongst microscopic animals. This ignorance obscures our understanding of the diversity patterns of a major component of biodiversity.
