Microbiological characteristics of luvic soils in western Slavonia

2009
Different anthropogenic influences as well as soil mechanical and chemical properties have a significant influence of presence of functional groups of microorganisms and on enzymatic activities in the plough-layer. The contemporary approach focusing on sustainability, biological diversity and conservation of soils as an unique resource, relies on the ...

Effect of hydraulic and mechanical stresses on cyclic deformation processes of a structured and homogenized silty Luvic Chernozem

Soil and Tillage Research, 2012
The deformation behavior of soils is strongly affected by coupled mechanical and hydraulic stresses especially under cyclic loading. Contrary to static loading tests cyclic loading caused plastic deformation increments with ongoing loading cycles even for stresses in the re-compression range associated with alterations in the hydraulic stress state ...

Submicroscopy of Aggregates of Luvic Phaeozems under Different Land Uses in the Southeast of the Buenos Aires Province, Argentina

Eurasian Soil Science, 2018
Soil aggregates are key elements of soil structure that play an important role in several soil processes. One of the major factors that affect soil structure are the anthropogenic activities. Such modifications can be studied by different scales of analysis, macro, meso and microscale; and measured through different soil properties. The aim of our work

Changes in carbon pool and CO2 emission in the course of postagrogenic succession on gray soils (Luvic Phaeozems) in European Russia

Eurasian Soil Science, 2017
An analogous time series of fallow ecosystems (gray soils (Luvic Phaeozems) plowed and fallowed for 2, 7, 20, 60, and more than 120 years) in the broad-leaved forest zone of Orel oblast has been analyzed. Changes in carbon pool and CO2 emission in the course of postagrogenic succession during the vegetation and winter seasons have been estimated.

Effects of long-term fertilization on the yield of winter wheat and N forms on Luvic Phaeosem soil determined in 0.01 M CaCl 2

Agrokémia és Talajtan, 2010
The effects of regular NPK fertilization on the amounts of winter wheat yield and the amounts and proportion of different N forms (NO3-N, NH4-N, Norg, Ntotal) of a Luvic Phaeosem soil determined in 0.01MCaCl2were studied in the B1740 variant of the National Long-Term Fertilization Experiment at Karcag. According to the yield data, N and P fertilization

Influence of soil tillage upon the characteristics of erosional drift on Luvic stagnosols in Central Croatia

2000
Conservation tillage and crop rotation are powerful tools that enable us to control erosional processes and keep erosion within tolerated limits. Efficient soil conservation is the conditio sine qua non of sustainable land management of highly erodible soils. One of such soil types is Luvic stagnosol in central part of Croatia.

Application of biochar based on spent mushroom blocks in conditions of Gray-Luvic Phaeozems Hortic

АгроЭкоИнфо
Recycling of organic waste from mushroom production will improve their environmental safety and optimize the applied agricultural technologies. The aim of the work was to assess the environmental performance of the agricultural technology of using a soil fertilizing material – biochar obtained from spent lignin-cellulose mushroom blocks.

Luvice ziti’li adlar, Likçe Ipresida ve Kaunosça Imbros

2016
The Luwian personal names formed with -ziti ‘man’ did notsurvive into the later hieroglyphic inscriptions; the latest clear example isattested at Carchemish around 975 BC. They were not continued in the namesformed with -σητα in the Pisidian inscriptions from Sofular, with -σητας inGreek inscriptions from Rough Cilicia, Isauria and the eastern margin ...
