Abstract A 4‐month‐old pet rabbit was presented with intermittent left pelvic limb lameness, painful and swollen left metatarsal region. Radiographs revealed complete simple fractures of the left metatarsal bones II, III and IV. Open reduction and internal fixation were performed using intramedullary pins.

Abstract A 12‐year‐old, male intact, Papillon dog was presented following trauma from a motor vehicle accident. On arrival, the dog was laterally recumbent with neurological dysfunction (modified Glasgow coma scale 12) and multiple injuries, including right hip luxation and suspected haemorrhage.

Abstract A 7‐year‐old, male, neutered Bichon Frise presented with a 3‐month history of intermittent lameness 18 months post tibial plateau levelling osteotomy as treatment for cranial cruciate ligament rupture. On the physical examination, hyperextension of the right stifle joint was detected.
