We examined patient‐reported tolerability of the addition of a PARP inhibitor, veliparib, to cisplatin‐etoposide for treatment of extensive stage small cell lung cancer in randomized controlled trial E2511. The addition of veliparib to cisplatin‐etoposide was tolerable according to a patient‐reported outcome and adherence.
