On Metric Choice in Dimension Reduction for Fréchet Regression
Summary Fréchet regression is becoming a mainstay in modern data analysis for analysing non‐traditional data types belonging to general metric spaces. This novel regression method is especially useful in the analysis of complex health data such as continuous monitoring and imaging data.

Lyapunov Spectra of Coulombic and Gravitational Periodic Systems
An open question in nonlinear dynamics is the relation between the Kolmogorov entropy and the largest Lyapunov exponent of a given orbit. Both have been shown to have diagnostic capability for phase transitions in thermodynamic systems.

Symplectic Calculation of Lyapunov Exponents
The Lyapunov exponents of a chaotic system quantify the exponential divergence of initially nearby trajectories. For Hamiltonian systems the exponents are related to the eigenvalues of a symplectic matrix. We make use of this fact to develop a new method for the calculation of Lyapunov exponents of such systems.

Change Point Analysis for Functional Data Using Empirical Characteristic Functionals
ABSTRACT We develop a new method to detect change points in the distribution of functional data based on integrated CUSUM processes of empirical characteristic functionals. Asymptotic results are presented under conditions allowing for low‐order moments and serial dependence in the data establishing the limiting null‐distribution of the proposed test ...

Lyapunov exponents, phase transitions, and Chaos bound of ModMax AdS black holes
We study the thermodynamic phase transition of ModMax anti-de Sitter (AdS) black holes using Lyapunov exponents of massless and massive particles in unstable circular orbits.

Dynamic Event‐Triggered Robust Model Predictive Control for Quadrotor Trajectory Tracking
ABSTRACT This paper addresses the trajectory tracking problem for a full‐state quadrotor subject to physical model constraints and unknown external disturbances. A robust tube‐based model predictive control (MPC) approach is successfully applied to the system, which is subject to bounded disturbances and hard constraints.

Power Quality‐Oriented Multiloop Design of Floating Wind Turbines Pitch Control
ABSTRACT Floating offshore wind turbines (FOWTs) face inherent control limitations in above‐rated operating conditions due to right‐half‐plane zeros in the blade‐pitch‐to‐rotor‐speed dynamics, which restrict achievable control bandwidth and may lead to closed‐loop instability.
