Lyapunov functionals and stability of stochastic functional differential equations
Stability conditions for functional differential equations can be obtained using Lyapunov functionals. Lyapunov Functionals and Stability of Stochastic Functional Differential Equations describes the general method of construction of Lyapunov functionals

This paper proposes a novel control framework to ensure safety of a robotic swarm. A feedback optimization controller is capable of driving the swarm toward a target density while keeping risk‐zone exposure below a safety threshold. Theory and experiments show how safety is more effectively achieved for sparsely connected swarms.

Construction of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional for time-varying delay systems
International audienceThis paper provides some new techniques to construct a Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional for time varying delay systems. The construction is based on a partitioning scheme of the time-varying delay leading to a new type of Lyapunov ...

This article is concerned with the problem of dissipativity and stability analysis for a class of neural networks (NNs) with time-varying delays. First, a new augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF), including some delay-product-type terms, is ...

Exploiting Ferroelectric and Spintronic Dynamics for Neural Network Computation
Ferroelectric and spintronic devices, relying on the control of polarization and magnetization, offer intrinsically fast, durable, energy‐efficient, and low‐latency building blocks for analog in‐memory computing. The hysteretic dynamics of an order parameter are leveraged to provide nonvolatile, multistate memory and nonlinear switching. Brain‐inspired

On the Entropy Based Associative Memory Model with Higher-Order Correlations
In this paper, an entropy based associative memory model will be proposed and applied to memory retrievals with an orthogonal learning model so as to compare with the conventional model based on the quadratic Lyapunov functional to be minimized during ...

Epidemiological Models and Lyapunov Functions [PDF]
Summary: We give a survey of results on global stability for deterministic compartmental epidemiological models. Using Lyapunov techniques we revisit a classical result, and give a simple proof. By the same methods we also give a new result on differential susceptibility and infectivity models with mass action and an arbitrary number of compartments ...

Abstract The linear‐quadratic regulator (LQR) problem of optimal control of an uncertain discrete‐time linear system (DTLS) is revisited in this paper from the perspective of Tikhonov regularization. We show that an optimally chosen regularization parameter reduces, compared to the classical LQR, the values of a scalar error function, as well as the ...
