No other choice: The fracturing of reflexivity in families' pathways into (non‐)elective home education in England

Abstract In England, education is compulsory, but schooling is not: it is legal for families to home educate their children. This form of education is officially termed by the Department for Education as ‘Elective Home Education’. As this designation implies, many families home educate as a positive and preferential ‘choice’.

In recent years, incorporating comprehensive cancer screening strategies into routine HIV care has gained growing attention. This survey of 220 sites providing HIV care across 41 countries shows that cervical cancer screening has increased in availability over time.

Abstract: An enslaved woman named Lydia was the victim of the 1829 assault in Chowan County, North Carolina, that was at issue in State v. Mann . After a trial court convicted John Mann for shooting Lydia as she fled from his punishment, the North Carolina Supreme Court, in a decision written by Thomas Ruffin, exonerated him.

Developmental dynamics of symptoms of emotional problems in childhood and adolescence: A longitudinal network analysis

JCPP Advances, EarlyView.
This study examined how emotional symptoms co‐develop from childhood to adolescence using longitudinal data from over 11,000 children and adolescents. Network analyses revealed reciprocal links between core symptoms of anxiety and depression, with no significant differences between males and females.
