Prediction of Lung Cancer Metastasis Risk Based on Single‐Cell Metabolic Profiling of Circulating Tumor Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A self‐developed CTC sorting and capture platform enabled single‐cell metabolomics of patient/animal CTCs, revealing brain/bone metastasis‐specific metabolic signatures. A classification model developed from these signatures predicted lung cancer metastasis risk, outperforming traditional markers and total CTC counts (AUCs:89 brain = 0.74; bone = 0.92).

Artificial Intelligence‐Assisted Urine Cytology for Noninvasive Detection of Muscle‐Invasive Urothelial Carcinoma: A Multi‐Center Diagnostic Study with Prospective Validation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Accurate preoperative detection of muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma (MIUC) is crucial for clinical decision‐making. This study developed PUCAS‐M, an artificial intelligence (AI) model that analyzes urine cytology to assist in differentiating MIUC from non‐MIUC.

Lutetium‐Based Nanoprobes for Radiosensitization with Immune Microenvironment Remodeling and NIR‐II Fluorescence Imaging‐Guided Surgery in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Enhancing radiosensitization, modulating the tumor immune microenvironment, and ensuring complete resection are crucial for colorectal cancer (CRC) treatment. This study presents a multifunctional NIR‐II fluorescent nanoprobe, RVLu@ICG, which enhances radiosensitization, remodels the tumor immune microenvironment, and enables precise image‐guided ...

Salvage esophagectomy for unresectable locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma: Significant or not?

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
Abstract We reviewed the current status and perspectives on salvage esophagectomy for initially unresectable locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) in the era of minimally invasive surgery and immunotherapy. Although the standard treatment for these patients is definitive chemoradiotherapy (CRT), the complete response rate to CRT ...
