Peripheral T-Cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma
Hematology/Oncology Clinics of North America, 2008T-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (T-NHL) are uncommon malignancies accounting for 10% to 15% of all NHL. Geographic variation has been well documented, but the geographic variation may reflect exposure to specific pathogenic viruses, such as Epstein Barr Virus and Human T-cell leukemia virus-1 in Asian countries.

Pathobiology of Peripheral T-cell Lymphomas
Hematology, 2006AbstractPeripheral T-cell lymphomas (PTLs) are uncommon, accounting for fewer than 10% of all non-Hodgkin lymphomas. Success in therapy of the PTLs has lagged behind that of aggressive B-cell lymphomas, and most PTLs have a poor prognosis. The molecular pathogenesis of most PTLs is also poorly understood.
