Photodegradation of Lyocell Fibers Through Exposure to Simulated Sunlight
Textile Research Journal, 2001This research investigates changes occurring in lyocell fibers resulting from exposure to simulated sunlight, FTIR microspectroscopy is used in combination with measurements of tensile properties, fluidity, moisture regain, yellowness, weight loss, and birefringence.

Mechanism of photoluminescence properties of lyocell fibers changing with crystallinity
Carbohydrate PolymersAlthough there have been sporadic reports that the crystallinity of cellulose has a significant impact on photoluminescence (PL) properties, the degree and pattern of this effect have not been thoroughly explored and elucidated. Here, we assume that crystallinity is positively correlated with PL emission.

Ionic Surfactant Adsorption on Cationized Lyocell Fibers
2015The most important phase in textile finishing processes is adsorption of chemical compounds and substances on textile materials surface. Lyocell fibers, like most textile fibers, are negatively charged in neutral and alkali aqueous solutions. Therefore, the adsorption of anionic textile auxiliaries, dyestuffs, optical brighteners and finishing agents ...
