ESTRUCTURA DE RODALES DE Pinus hartwegii AFECTADOS POR INCENDIOS UTILIZANDO PARÁMETROS DE VECINDAD EN LA SIERRA MADRE ORIENTAL, MÉXICO

open access: yesTropical and Subtropical Agroecosystems, 2012

The objective of this research was to characterize the pattern of spatial structure of a Pinus hartwegii forest in the Sierra Madre Oriental, affected by a fire in 1998. Sampling was stratified by fire severity. Three fire severity classes were defined based on the degree of crown consumption (low, medium and high).

Multipolar Resonances in Electro‐Optic Metasurfaces with Moderate Refractive Index

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
Electro‐optic nanoantennas with moderate refractive indices of 2.3 to 3.0 are numerically shown to sustain strong multipolar resonances, enabling efficient light confinement and EO tuning. Multipolar modes of even parity are most sensitive to variations in the refractive index.

EFECTO DE LA IVERMECTINA EN LA DINÃMICA ESPACIO-TEMPORAL DE ESCARABAJOS ESTERCOLEROS EN VERACRUZ, MÉXICO

open access: yesTropical and Subtropical Agroecosystems, 2012

open access: yesTropical and Subtropical Agroecosystems, 2013

Plant species that successfully establish in environments of recent formation, such as barrier islands, exhibit life history traits that allow them to efficiently capture nutrients and water, such ability may be largely due to interactions these plants establish with mutualistic arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF).
