Defect‐Healed Au/rGO Coating for the Corrosion Protection of PEMFC Bipolar Plates

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 11, Issue 5, 6 March 2026.
A defect‐healed gold/reduced graphene oxide (Au/rGO) coating is presented for stainless steel bipolar plates in polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells. Gold nanoparticles nucleate at graphene oxide defects, blocking corrosive ion penetration and enhancing corrosion resistance, thereby ensuring durable fuel cell operation.

The CKM matrix from anti-SU(7) unification of GUT families

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2015
We estimate the CKM matrix elements in the recently proposed minimal model, anti-SU(7) GUT for the family unification, [3]+2[2]+8[1¯]+(singlets). It is shown that the real angles of the right-handed unitary matrix diagonalizing the mass matrix can be ...

NDST3‐Induced Epigenetic Reprogramming Reverses Neurodegeneration in Parkinson's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 14, 9 March 2026.
NDST3‐mediated epigenetic reprogramming revitalizes neuronal circuits in the substantia nigra and striatum to halt dopaminergic neuron degeneration and restore motor function in Parkinson's disease models. This strategy promotes neuronal maintenance and functional recovery, highlighting NDST3's therapeutic potential in neurodegenerative disorders ...

Protective Effect of Protaetia brevitarsis Larvae Extract on Alcoholic Liver Disease in Mice

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 3, March 2026.
This study evaluated the hepatoprotective effects of Protaetia brevitarsis larvae water extract (PBLE) in a chronic‐plus‐binge ethanol mouse model. PBLE attenuated hepatic lipid accumulation and liver injury by modulating alcohol metabolism‐related enzymes and reducing oxidative stress and inflammation.

Recent Advances in Chemical Bath Deposition of Electron and Hole Transport Layers for Perovskite Solar Cells and Modules

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT The development of high‐efficiency, stable, and scalable perovskite solar cells/perovskite solar modules (PSCs/PSMs) highly depends on the performance and cost‐effectiveness of functional layers such as electron transport layers (ETLs) and hole transport layers (HTLs).

The Lifecycle of Typical IPOs: The Characteristics of Surviving Firms

open access: yesAccounting &Finance, Volume 66, Issue 1, Page 532-550, March 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper explores the dynamics of firm evolution by analysing the timing and sequencing of a firm's innovation, investment, financing and payout decisions following an IPO. We apply real options theory to analyse our sample that includes all IPOs listed on the NYSE, NYSE MKT and NASDAQ since 1976, categorised into surviving, voluntarily ...

Erythrocyte deformability correlates with microvascular ischemia and disease severity in diabetic retinopathy

open access: yesJournal of Diabetes Investigation, Volume 17, Issue 3, Page 483-491, March 2026.
Under physiological conditions, deformable erythrocytes pass smoothly through the capillary network, maintaining retinal capillary perfusion (A). In pathological conditions, reduced erythrocyte deformability causes irregular passage and stagnation within capillaries, resulting in localized blood flow stasis and microvascular congestion, leading to ...
