O2 Activation at an Enzymatic Diiron Site: Bridging Ligand Substitutions Alter Diferric-(Hydro)peroxo States. [PDF]
Angew Chem Int Ed EnglSubstituting the bridging carboxylates in diFe sulerythrin shifts the bridging ligand coordination from 1,3‐carboxylate to 1,1‐carboxylate, yielding all three diferrous bridging motifs in one protein. This shortens the Fe–Fe distance and increases reactivity with O2.

Angew Chem Int Ed EnglThe weakly coordinated trivalent antimony atoms show record‐breaking low chemical Mössbauer shifts, and in combination with several monovalent cations including silver, nitrosonium, thallium cations a rich crystal chemistry of closely related but different crystal structures. Sb(NH4)[B(SO4)2]4 showed a non‐linear SHG response comparable to that of KDP.
