Mössbauer spectroscopy of sulphidic minerals [PDF]

open access: yesActa Montanistica Slovaca, 2000
Principles of the Mössbauer effect and the possibilities of its utilization for the study of sulphidic minerals are discussed. There is possibility to apply the Mössbauer spectroscopy in mineralogy for the identification of sulphides („fingerprint ...

Entropy‐Driven Innovations: Entropy Stabilized Oxides for High‐Performance Next‐Generation Lithium–Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This article explores high‐entropy‐stabilized oxides (HEOs) as novel functional materials for addressing critical issues in lithium–sulfur (Li–S) batteries, including lithium polysulfide (LPS) shuttling, inadequate conductivity, and slow redox kinetics.

Covalent Functionalization of NiFe Layered Double Hydroxides using Tris(Hydroxymethyl)Aminomethane

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Covalent functionalization of NiFe layered double hydroxides with tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane enables controlled growth, enhanced structural order, and improved processability. Temporary TRIS anchoring promotes stable water‐based inks and binder‐free electrode fabrication, leading to enhanced oxygen evolution activity and long‐term stability under ...

Breaking the ORR Trade‐Off via Mg‐Steered Fe‐N4 Pyridinic Conversion

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A Mg‐assisted sacrificial templating strategy is developed to selectively regulate the coordination environment of Fe–N4 sites. This approach induces an active site conversion from S1 to S2, enabling enhancement of oxygen reduction activity and durability. ABSTRACT Single‐atom Fe sites coordinated by pyrrolic nitrogen (Fe‐Npyrr‐C) are highly active for

2D Iron Oxide at the Graphene/SiC(0001) Interface

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
2D iron oxide was successfully formed via intercalation of Fe and O into the graphene/SiC(0001) interface. Atomic‐resolution electron microscopy revealed that the 2D iron oxide is encapsulated by graphene and sharply interfaced with SiC. This material is suggested to exhibit antiferromagnetic behavior at low temperatures.

A Second-Generation Janus Scorpionate Ligand: Controlling Coordination Modes in Iron(II) Complexes by Steric Modulation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The second-generation Janus scorpionate ligand [HB(mtdaMe)3−] containing methyl-mercaptothiadiazolyl (mtdaMe) heterocyclic rings and (N,N,N-) and (S,S,S-) binding pockets has been prepared. The effect of methyl substitution versus the unsubstituted first-

Mössbauer forward scattering spectra of ferromagnets in radio-frequency magnetic field [PDF]

open access: yesЯдерна фізика та енергетика, 2012
The transmission of Mössbauer radiation through a thick ferromagnetic crystal, subjected to the radio-frequency (rf) magnetic field, is studied. A quantum-mechanical dynamical scattering theory is developed, taking into account both the periodical ...

Crystal structure and magnetic properties of Li1-xNaxFePO4 based on Mössbauer spectroscopy

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2017
The Na-doped Li1-xNaxFePO4 (x = 0.0, 0.01, 0.05, 0.1, 1) samples were synthesized by solid-state reaction method and investigated with X-ray diffractometer (XRD), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and Mössbauer spectrometer.
