The Impact of Outliers on Net-Benefit Regression Model in Cost-Effectiveness Analysis. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2013
Ordinary least square (OLS) in regression has been widely used to analyze patient-level data in cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA). However, the estimates, inference and decision making in the economic evaluation based on OLS estimation may be biased by ...

Parent Quality of Life at Two Years Following Their Child's Completion of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Treatment

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Parents of children treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often experience significant caregiver burden and disruption to their well‐being. While parent quality of life (QoL) during treatment is well characterized, little is known about outcomes during early survivorship.

A PRSZT Registry Analysis of Prognostic Factors Influencing Survival and Relapse Rates After Second Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A second allogeneic (allo‐)hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT2) is a potential curative option for pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) following relapse after first allogeneic transplantation (HSCT1), but its efficacy is limited by high relapse rates and transplant‐related toxicity in highly pretreated ...

Asymptotic properties for self-weighted M-estimation of MEM

open access: yesFrontiers in Applied Mathematics and Statistics
IntroductionIn the context of non-negative high-frequency financial time series, the multiplicative error model (MEM) is a generalized model. Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) serves as the standard approach for parameter estimation when applying MEM ...

Uncertain accessibility estimation method for offshore wind farm based on multi‐step probabilistic wave forecasting

open access: yesIET Renewable Power Generation, 2021
Accessibility estimation is significant to the offshore wind farm operation and maintenance (O&M) due to the extremely limited weather window and its sensitive effects on O&M tasks. Wave forecasting can be one solution to help maintenance decision‐making.

Evaluation of the Utility of Baseline Echocardiogram in Patients With Standard Risk Precursor B‐Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
Abstract Background A routine baseline echocardiogram is often obtained prior to anthracycline administration in children with cancer. The utility of baseline echocardiogram is unclear in patients with standard risk B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (SR B‐ALL) as their anthracycline cumulative dose is low.

KAJIAN ESTIMASI-M IRLS MENGGUNAKAN FUNGSI PEMBOBOT HUBER DAN BISQUARE TUKEY PADA DATA KETAHANAN PANGAN DI JAWA TENGAH

open access: yesMedia Statistika, 2012
Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) is one method of parameter estimation in regression analysis. However, the presence of outliers can cause estimation of regression coefficients obtained are not exact.

CPX‐351 in High‐Risk Relapsed Pediatric Acute Leukemia: Real‐World Phase 1 Data Establishing the FDA‐Approved Dose

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Outcomes for pediatric relapsed/refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remain dismal. CPX‐351, a liposomal formulation of cytarabine and daunorubicin, may have less off‐target toxicities than traditional chemotherapies and has shown improved outcomes for adults with newly diagnosed therapy‐related AML.
