Isolation, Identification and Characterization of Endophytic Bacterium Rhizobium oryzihabitans sp. nov., from Rice Root with Biotechnological Potential in Agriculture

open access: yesMicroorganisms, 2020
A flagellate, rod–shaped bacterium designated strain M15T was isolated from rice roots. Phylogenetic analysis based on the sequences of the 16S rRNA, housekeeping genes and genomes showed that the isolate belonged to the genus Rhizobium, with the highest

Unveiling the Core of the Globular Cluster M15 in the Ultraviolet [PDF]

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 2007
We have obtained deep far- (FUV) and near-ultraviolet (NUV) images of the inner region of the dense globular cluster M15 with the Advanced Camera for Surveys on board the Hubble Space Telescope. The FUV-NUV colour-magnitude diagram shows a well defined track of horizontal branch stars, as well as a trail of blue stragglers and white dwarfs.

The m15 Locus of Murine Cytomegalovirus Modulates Natural Killer Cell Responses to Promote Dissemination to the Salivary Glands and Viral Shedding

open access: yesPathogens, 2021
As the largest herpesviruses, the 230 kb genomes of cytomegaloviruses (CMVs) have increased our understanding of host immunity and viral escape mechanisms, although many of the annotated genes remain as yet uncharacterised. Here we identify the m15 locus

Multiwavelength observations of the M15 intermediate-velocity cloud [PDF]

open access: yesMonthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, 2002
We present Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope HI images, Lovell Telescope multibeam HI wide-field mapping, Wisconsin H-alpha Mapper facility images, William Herschel Telescope longslit echelle CaII observations, and IRAS ISSA 60 and 100 micron coadded images towards the intermediate velocity cloud located in the general direction of the M15 globular ...

Radial variation of the stellar mass functions in the globular clusters M15 and M30: clues of a non-standard IMF? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
We exploit a combination of high-resolution Hubble Space Telescope and wide-field ESO-VLT observations to study the slope of the global mass function (alphaG) and its radial variation (alpha(r)) in the two dense, massive and post core-collapse globular ...

M15, an astrometric standard for CCD observations [PDF]

open access: yesAstronomy and Astrophysics Supplement Series, 1996
CCD observations of stars in the region of the globular cluster M15 have been used to obtain astrometric positions of 1092 stars in the central part of the cluster within the FK5 system. The purpose of this catalogue is to calibrate astrometrically CCD observations by means of measuring the positions of stars in M15.
