The Hubble Diagram of the Calan/Tololo Type Ia Supernovae and the value of Ho [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
The Calan/Tololo supernova survey has discovered ~30 Type Ia supernovae out to z~0.1. Using BVI data for these objects and nearby SNe Ia, we have shown that there exists a significant dispersion in the intrinsic luminosities of these objects.

High-resolution optical imaging of the core of the globular cluster M15 with FastCam [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We present high-resolution I-band imaging of the core of the globular cluster M15 obtained at the 2.5 m Nordic Optical Telescope with FastCam, a low readout noise L3CCD based instrument. Short exposure times (30 ms) were used to record 200000 images (512

The Light Curve of S Andromedae [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Historical observations of S And, in combination with the color versus rate-of-decline relationship for well-observed SN 1991bg-like supernovae, are used to estimate a rate of decline Delta m15 (B) = 2.21 and an intrinsic color at maximum [B(0) - V(0)]o =

Heavy Element Dispersion in the Metal-Poor Globular Cluster M92 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Dispersion among the light elements is common in globular clusters (GCs), while dispersion among heavier elements is less common. We present detection of r-process dispersion relative to Fe in 19 red giants of the metal-poor GC M92.

Constraints on the Distance Moduli, Helium and Metal Abundances, and Ages of Globular Clusters from their RR Lyrae and Non-Variable Horizontal-Branch Stars. I. M3, M15, and M92

open access: yes, 2016
Up-to-date isochrones, zero-age horizontal branch (ZAHB) loci, and evolutionary tracks for core He-burning stars are applied to the color-magnitude diagrams (CMDs) of M3, M15, and M92, focusing in particular on their RR Lyrae populations. Periods for ab-
